I'm disappointed to find out that these banners I've been ordering which were previously biodegradable, are no longer biodegradable even though the front page of your site says they are

It seems now unfortunate that your products fall under these two really bad categories
A. Vinyl Banners (PVC)
* Lifespan in Landfill: Hundreds of Years.

* Degradation: Vinyl (Polyvinyl Chloride or PVC) is a plastic that is not biodegradable. When disposed of in a landfill, it remains intact for centuries.
Toxicity: PVC is considered one of the most environmentally damaging plastics. Its production and disposal (especially incineration) can release toxic substances like dioxins, which pose serious health and environmental risks.

B. Fabric / Canvas Banners (Polyester)
* Lifespan in Landfill: Decades to Hundreds of Years.
Degradation: Most modern outdoor "canvas" is made from Polyester, which is a type of plastic fabric. Like vinyl, polyester is not readily biodegradable and will remain in the environment for a very long time. While it may shred into micro-plastics faster than solid PVC, it does not truly decompose like organic matter.

I spent a while looking for eco banner printing. And this fabric banner seemed to tick a lot of boxes so I ordered it. But then, after the shipping info came through with app tracking, I realised it was coming from China which blows all the sustainability credentials of the product out of the water :/

I ordered the 100% cotton banner but recieved a polyester banner. I contacted customer service and the response was uninterested and unapologetic. Eventually they agreed to a refund but I am yet to recieve it.

We were looking for an eco-friendly option and Backdrop Source produced the perfect banner for us. The set up process was simple. Their customer service was great, answering our questions and ensuring that we were happy with all aspects of our banner before ordering. I can highly recommend them, and we're already ordering another banner!

Great quality banner, looking great in terms of size, thickness of the fabric and brightness of the colour. I have removed one star for two reasons, one is the communication was lacking, it was not clear when the order was processed, sent to print, and dispatched. there was no tracking number. the second reason is that the banner was printed in china. the whole reason I chose fabric is that I consider sustainability in my orders. Had I known my order will be printed and then shipped just for me all the way from china, consuming these air miles, I wouldn't have made the purchase.
