We've ordered from several suppliers — none come close to this level of quality and service. Will 100% reorder.

The free 2D design mockup sold us immediately. Exactly what we saw in the preview was what arrived at our door.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a constant-air and a sealed-air inflatable? +
Constant-air products, including the Inflatable Tube Man with Constant Air Supply, stay up because a blower runs continuously for as long as the display is in use. Sealed-air items are pumped once and then closed, so they need no power but will soften over a long day and want topping up. Constant-air is the safer choice for anything tall or moving, because a small leak is simply replaced by more air instead of collapsing the structure. Sealed-air suits smaller static pieces such as an Inflatable Ottoman used inside a marquee.
Do I need mains power on site, and what does the Air Dancer Blower do? +
The blower is the engine of a constant-air inflatable, and it has to run the whole time the arch or air dancer is standing. Confirm with the venue in advance that there is a usable outdoor socket within reach, or arrange a generator, because sports fields, car parks and farm wedding venues frequently have no accessible supply. Any cable run outdoors should be on an RCD and either matted or taped down across walkways. Position the blower where it will not sit in a puddle and where guests cannot knock it over.
How do I anchor an inflatable arch safely in British weather? +
Use every anchor point provided rather than the two that seem obvious, and run the guy lines out at an angle instead of straight down. On grass, ground stakes driven at a lean away from the structure hold best; on hard standing you need ballast weights, and water or sand containers are the usual answer. Decide before the event at what wind strength you will take the arch down, and agree who on site makes that call. An inflatable arch should never be left standing unattended overnight.
Which ground surfaces can I set an inflatable up on? +
Grass is the easiest because it takes pegs directly, though you should check with the venue for buried irrigation, cabling or drainage before driving anything in. Tarmac, block paving and indoor floors cannot be pegged at all, so plan for ballast from the start. On gravel or rough tarmac, lay a groundsheet under the base — abrasion from repeated small movements is what wears through inflatable fabric first, long before the seams fail. Sloping ground is workable but the arch will lean, so check the fall of the site when you choose your position.
Can I have my own design printed onto an inflatable arch or column? +
Yes, arches and Inflatable Advertising Columns can be printed with personalised artwork. The important thing is placement: keep key wording on the flat central span of a Round Arch Inflatable, because the legs curve away from the viewer and text wrapped around them becomes hard to read from the front. Supply vector files or high-resolution artwork where you can, and use our free artwork assistance and free 2D mockup to see how the layout sits on the curved shape before anything is printed.
How should I pack an inflatable away after an event? +
Never pack an inflatable away damp. Let the fabric dry fully — spread out in a hall or garage if the weather will not allow it outdoors — because mildew staining sets in quickly and does not come out. Brush off grass cuttings, mud and grit before folding, as trapped grit acts as an abrasive every time the material is rolled. Fold along consistent lines rather than stuffing the material into the bag, and store the packed unit somewhere dry and off a bare concrete floor.
Can inflatable structures be used indoors? +
They can, and an arch works well as an entrance feature inside a hall, but ceiling height is the deciding factor. Many village halls and hotel function rooms have lower ceilings than people expect, often with beams, lighting bars or ceiling fans that reduce the usable height further. Measure to the lowest obstruction rather than the ceiling itself, and check the stated height on the product page against that figure. Bear in mind that a constant-air blower is audible indoors, so keep it away from the top table or a speech position.
How are inflatable structures delivered, and what should I check on arrival? +
Delivery is free anywhere in the UK. When the parcel arrives, check the contents against the packing list straight away rather than on the morning of the event, and carry out a test inflation in a garden or hall so you learn the fold pattern and confirm the blower runs. That trial run is the single best use of half an hour before an outdoor event. Everything is covered by a 1-year product warranty, and our team is available on support@backdropsource.co.uk or +44 1628 904 188 if anything is missing or not as expected.
