    Chroma keying is that the method of shooting video on a solid color background then digitally removing this background throughout the editing/post production process. Once the solid color background is removed, you'll be able to ‘swap’ the background of your footage – a method that’s used usually in news and VFX work. So, whereas ‘chroma keying’ is that the post-production work, shooting on a screen on set is that the initial a part of the method.

    When to Use Green Screen
    With modern digital cameras, the green color is processed the cleanest with the most luminance. The result is that you’ll often be able to pull a clean key with the least amount of noise, and often, without a complicated lighting setup. Green is also an ideal choice if you’re compositing in a ‘daytime’ background. Any leftover green can blend better into daytime footage, while it’s more challenging to blend green against a darker (or nighttime) background.

    Wrinkle-friendly cotton fabric

    I like that it’s heavy cotton and the wrinkles are minimal. A warm iron and stretch it out and it looks almost seamless.
